This is probably another daft question, but is there any difference between doing the fishless cycle for coldwater fish or tropicals?
I've got my ammonia, I have some muck from my established filter, do I need to do anything else?

Im not an expert as you will know carole, but I dont think there is any difference. If you have a spare heater you could also raise the temperature of the coldwater tank just while you are doing the cycle becoz it speeds up the bacteria growing.
Hey!! Look at me giving a bit of advice!
