| Yesterday I had to totally drain off this tank and remove the internal Juwel corner filter to fit a new Fluval 105. However after filling the tank back up the water is still a little cloudy, could this be from the sand after filling from empty? Or dust which were still on the ceramic hoops in the filter or just a dodgy bath of water from yesterday? Should I leave it a while and see how it goes or should I remove a % and add fresh? I have checked Ammonia and it came up yellow = 0 I didnt check anything else, should i ? Any suggestions are most welcome! |

| I would think it's just a combination of new filter & disturbing the substrate. I'd leave it & see how it goes over a day or two. If not, change a big % of water Have you got a before & after shot with/without the juwel box out? _________________ MunŠhy ŠaŽŽot My site |

| Looks better from what I can tell & it's the same as my kitchen tank (i think) makes a big difference to how the tank looks doesn't it. The cloudinesss isn't too bad. Take another pic this time tomorrow from the end & compare em _________________ MunŠhy ŠaŽŽot My site |

| Doesn't look that cloudy, GD. I cleaned out the filters of all my tanks this afternoon and the 165L was really cloudy for about half an hour afterwards but now it's pristine again. _________________ No one falls in love by choice, it's by chance. | Ah ok, serves me right for speed reading again...maybe it depends on the filter? _________________ No one falls in love by choice, it's by chance. No one stays in love by chance, it's by work and no one falls out of love by chance, it is by choice...
