I dont know if this is an emergency, but this part of the forum looked lonesome!!

Having a look at my fish today the corys were going crazy. They were chasing each other all over the tank, and chasing away any other fish that was mad enough to go near them! A couple of them were sort of locked together at the mouth, twirling all over the place at the top of the tank, while some of the rest were just darting all over the place. One decided to hide in the end and stayed at the bottom of the tank.

They have all calmed down now and are hanging out at the bottom quite calmly, but I dont know if they were fighting or not, and if they were what should I do about it, or do corys play and act the hooligan??

It could just be that they were having a mad half hour Fishfan, or perhaps sorting out who's boss. Hevent you recently added a couple of new corys to the tank - perhaps its something to do with that.

If your water is ok, and all the rest of the fish are ok, I would just keep an eye on things and see if it settles.

Its normal for cories to have these mad half hours. My cories tend to do it after water changes, just before breeding
