PostSubject: Honey Gouramis   Fri Apr 18, 2008 10:00 pm

Last week I picked up a male-female pair of Honey Gouramis and I currently have them in quarantine. Unfortunately, the male chased the female incessantly and fin-nipped her so I had to separate him into another Q tank which I luckily had. I have now ordered a second female so that when they are all eventually reunited in the 90L tank, he can spread the love among his pair of ladies. Wink

Here's the male showing his splendid breeding colours.

The duller female but still quite an attractive little fish.

The pair together just before I separated them.

Nice looking fish there Mary, hope he settles down when he's not so monogamous!

I think the pearl gouramis are bigger than the honey ones alison. The pearls grow to about 10cm, the honey about half that (I think)
